Hello there.
My name is Janet Xuccoa and it’s really nice to meet you!
I believe you should always check the credentials of any professional advisor before you deal with them. Although I am not an advisor, I do think I should ‘walk my talk’ and so want to tell you a little about myself.
I’ve been very fortunate to have gained a couple of degrees being a BCom (majoring in accounting) and an LLB under which I took a particular interest in equity (trusts) and tax.
These degrees have enabled me to have an amazing career, holding some interesting roles in accounting and legal practices. I held my last role for over a decade and a half as a Partner in a large accounting firm, running their Trustee Services division.
Currently, I lead Black + White Trust Services Limited. My role involves aiding individuals directly in asset protection, estate planning and trust matters and helping accountants and solicitors assist their own clients with wealth protection matters. It’s imperative work because whilst growing your wealth is important, ensuing its protected is absolutely vital!
When I’m not at the office, you’ll frequently find me tapping on my laptop, writing my next book. In total I’ve written three books. These are Family Trusts 101, Money Secrets 101 and my latest book, Women & Money : Mastering The Struggle. All these books epitomize my belief that education coupled with informed action, can empower people to live better lives. This can have positive flow on effects through families and society.
I practice what I preach and continually look to update my own knowledge. My investing activities in shares and property brings plenty of opportunities for me to meet other professionals and increase my own education through the information they generously share.
Currently, I am writing a monthly column for the M2 Woman Magazine and working on my fourth book as well as the Money Matters Newsletter which you can obtain for free from this site.
When my fingers aren’t wandering over the keyboard, you’ll find me working out in the gym, trying not to trip over my own feet in a dance class, practicing breathing at the bottom of the sea whilst scuba diving, appreciating creativity in an art gallery and occasionally, indulging in a glass of bubbles in a wine bar.
Before you leave me I want to wish you well on your learning journey. My sincere hope is the information you find on this site and elsewhere, provides you with the wisdom you seek, enabling you to build your own wealth and providing you with an opportunity to pay it forward and help others.
Happy travels.
